*staaaaaaaaaaaare*

Elysaar, Yohji doesn't have a bellybutton.

    I gotta go. >.>

I will not write Ardeth Bay fanfiction. I will not write Ardeth Bay fanfiction...now, only 998 repetitions to go...

But I'm terribly tempted. Spending large portions of time at the Land of Dreams site isn't helping this resolution. Follow the link; there's a NUMMY modified pic of Oded Fehr. *_* Most of the fanfic is total Mary Sue fangirl romance novel-type stuff, but I'm fond of the "Beautiful" stories by Monica Sherwood, because they are good, even if Julia's middle name is Marysue. I'm willing to bet I'd be caught, killed, and crucified by his vociferous fandom if I ever attempted to slash Ardeth Bay...but I stopped writing Mary Sues over four years ago, and I'm not about to start up again now. ^^

A couple of new blogs in the link section...one of them, at least, I was terribly lax in linking even though I'd discovered it before. And there are a few hits I'm getting that I haven't linked yet; gomen. ^_^

Feedback! Feedback! I love you both! *^_______^* You made my day!

Liz, I totally agree with you on the S/S S/K....thing. Gack, people get so fired up over those two pairings! It's one of the reasons I will probably never write X or Tokyo Babylon fanfiction. And the formation of those pro- and anti- cliques just reeks of high school. *shakes head* There are pairings that people don't like. People should not read those stories, in that case. Agree to disagree, and stay diplomatic about it...what am I saying? These things have a tendency to blow up in whichever direction the shrapnel can fly. I still remember the Miko Wars, and the nasty spats that would flare up on YSML.... ^^;;; There are some people that can't let things go.

Joy, I adore the "Hikaru no Go" layout; it's very pretty. Between you and Katherine showing pretty pics, I'm really tempted to find some of the manga at Kinokuniya's today. ^_^ And I love the name of your blog, "Chiaroscuro." Woo, lemme know if "Moulin Rouge" is any good.

Thanks to EVERYONE who wants more Saiyuki fic! You too, Shi Lin! Infusions of sparklies can definitely encourage a body to write more...

That said, I go to read more fic now. >.> And work, of course. <.< I might get some ficking done tonight; it all depends. >.> Definitely going to Kinokuniya.

    Listening to: "A.M. Radio," Everclear.
Playing: "Vagrant Story," again; loving the second replay.
State of Mind: Jittery. IT'S FRIDAY!!

Love the code. Hate the code.

*pokes around; makes internal adjustments* There, that looks slightly better. Thanks, Zoe. Hey, all of you -- suggestions for improvement are soooo welcome! Especially since my grasp of code is not as good as it could/should be, considering I mess around with websites, and all that.

I'm considering tackling the pic of Clow/Eriol for a third time. Then again...mwehh. No, I'm ready to relax tonight and vegetate completely.

I just had to share this. It's fecking hilarious. I read through all of the EVA ones, and...well, go check it out for yourself. >.>

Kaworu: Let's take a bath and have a sleepover, Shinji. That way no matter what happens to the world in the future, we will be immortalized in endless yaoi fanfics for this one night.
Shinji: Oh, OK. Sounds good. What's "yaoi"?

*snickerSNORTrollingoverlaughing* Good thing I wasn't sipping anything at the time... And that was the least of it!

Odd hits lately... I'm sorry, but there is no Rinoa Navel Ring here. Thank goodness. *shudder* Wraeththu slash...sorry, but I haven't written any. *wistful* But if ya find some, show me where it is!! I do believe Theria has some Wraeththu-based fiction on her page, though. Free digimon sex doujinshi... *pause*....... SQUICK!! No, Neko-chan, I'm not talking about the cute little Taiyama doujin that can be had off e-bay. This is, I believe, my third or fourth hit for Vagrant Story yaoi. While I'm playing "Vagrant Story," (second replay) I haven't written fiction for it. I want to, but Tenshi no Korin wrote the most absolutely wonderful "VS" fic I'm not sure I can bring myself to try. -.- She posted the last part today at the Garage of BishonenInk. There were some other search engine hits, all fairly mundane. ^_^

Okay. Back to work. Haven't gotten any "Ouroborous" done today, but I want to.

.....well, Touma might make one more entry on Yaoiland.

    Listening to: "Fly," Sugar Ray.
Playing: "Vagrant Story," again; loving the second replay.
    State of Mind: Headache. -.-#

    Yatta ze~!

    I vowed I would not blog until the Eriol layout was up. Happily, this morning I was able to upload the last two images, and I figured out what the heck I was doing wrong with my table. -.-;

Hisashiburi, desu ne? Yes, the layout still needs some work. Yes, the picture isn't as good as it good be. My Photoshop skillz aren't exactly up to par, but I'm working on it. This is the first layout I've put together from scratch, me, myself, no one helping. *^_^* So naturally it still has some suckage factor. ^^;; Even so, I'm moderately proud of the fact I was able to accomplish this at all.

Saa! It's been a busy past few days for tay-chan! My parents flew in Sunday night, so before that I did a lot of cleaning up around the house, etc. And I must confess, sinfully spent Sunday working on the Eriol layout -- scrapped the original layout, because the picture was WAY too big. I still need to find another site to host the images, because Dencity is really dying on me. ^^

Last Friday night we went to see "Shrek," and I enjoyed it. Mike Myers is too much fun. I'd like to see it again, but I can wait 'til it comes out on DVD. =^_^= And on Saturday, we went to see "The Mummy Returns" again in the theater. I do love that movie! Yes, it has some total cheese, but it's so much fun! And I've fallen in love with Ardeth Bay, the tattooed Magi. He's too cool, and very handsome. *niko*

Anyhow, parental visit. We didn't do anything with them Sunday, because they flew out around eight and they wanted to get settled, and it's an hour and a half round-trip to the airport. (They stayed at the Hampton Inn for Sunday night.) Monday, I dragged becki along for the trip to Mt. St. Helen's. It was a total washout; first there was bad fog as we drove up, then when we got to Johnston Point, it started snowing. The highlight there was watching the "Majestic Mt. St. Helen" video where, at the end, they retracted the movie screen, opened the curtains, and we got a good view of...lots of snow and mist. ^^;; The whole room was chuckling.

Tuesday, I was off work. Yay! *waves flags* Well, not yay for my checkbook, but I just got my state tax return, so it all balances out somehow. *niko* So I spent the day working on resumes and playing "Vagrant Story." Oh yeah! I beat "Vagrant Story" on Monday night, so the replay game absolutely kicks all kinds of ass. Ashley's statistics are terrific.

That evening, they came over for pre-dinner wine and cheese. ^^ This is the part where I reflect over the fact that my parents are total snobs, but I love them anyhow. They approved of the wine and cheese, then Dad picked out a restaurant from those in the area. I printed out directions for him from Yahoo!Maps (don't laugh, you know you've done it) gave him the directions, and proceeded to get lost myself. ^^;; I, um, took the wrong exit. We had dinner at McCormick's and it was excellent. I ate too much. >.<

And yesterday evening, we had dinner at Wildwood Restaurant in Portland. I had another opportunity to get lost, and promptly took it. Becki is not exactly impressed with my driving skills, lately. -.- Dinner was very nice, good conversation and company, and the parents are considering retiring somewhere in the Oregon area. NOOOOOOO!! They really like the vineyards out here, and wine is one of their primary hobbies. I was only peripherally aware of the vineyards out here. >.> I'm a beer-and-mixed-drinks type. <.<

Overall, the visit was much less stressful than tayMom's visit. ^_^;;; Excellent food, too. 'Nyway....oh, I had an interview yesterday, too, and I think it went fairly well. *crosses fingers* I don't want to jinx anything, but... Anyhow, the position would be a good one for me. ^______________^

I'm going to work on "Ouroborous" today -- those of you on tayfic know what I'm talking about -- and do real work, too. *^_^* Tonight, I fully plan on relaxing on the couch with a BK dinner, beer, and "Dungeons and Dragons." Gotta watch it; it's due tomorrow.

I don't actually have anything coherent to say right now; I'm exhausted by the past five days and ready for the weekend. Lots more happened that I won't put in the blog. ^^ There's no need to whinge about it after the fact. Maybe I'll make another entry later today...if I ever get my head screwed on straight!

For anyone looking for updates to my page: it's all on tayfic, honestly. I haven't been able to get to Dencity to tinker with anything in the longest time. ^^;; I'm searching for a good new site-host and as soon as I or Priya have a layout for it, there will be a mass move.

    Ja, mata!
