    Anyhow, *whew* Here's the first fic I've managed to finish in many months. Never the Twain Shall Meet, and it's a VS-fic, spoiler-laden for the end of the game and the secret of the Rood-Bearer. *v-sign* Thanks and kudos to Thea and Kei-chan for providing C&C. ^-^ Now, this is the first fic I've finished in a long while and it's only four pages.

    Anyhow, I'm trying to do this thing, and have come to the conclusion: will it be absolutely impossible to have text links for the fanfics? Because I'm going to be adding stuff every now and again, and if I send you the list of fics (which looks like my only option at this time) there are some I have grouped by categories &such. Rar. Well, I'm going to try fixing the blank pages one more time.

    Ow? My ear has been popping all day.

    I'm doing too many things at once. >_< I need to stop trying to chat, download, fix pages, and compose e-mail all at the same time. Or something. Some people can multi-task but it gives me headaches. o.o

    God, I wish I knew what was wrong that I feel constantly on the verge of crying lately. Well, not all day every day, but for about an hour or so about once a day. T_T (Now playing "Ghost" with a Yohji skin, which doesn't help.)Since normally I'm level and cheerful, it's rather disconcerting.

    Time to put the resume in, honest. -.-

    My Pensive!Sydney has been replaced entirely by Ecchi!Sydney. And now, I can distinctly hear the Bunny Hop in my head. Not that he's dancing to it, mind.

    He wants ME to.

    My Ashley is looking askance at Ecchi!Sydney and going "......" an awful lot. He is honestly not sure whether to give chase or run screaming.

    Speaking of my Ashley, I really need to start that one fic I began last Tuesday, and lost when I closed the notepad (accidentally!) without saving. ;.;

    I've come to the conclusion that I'm either boring or idiotic when it comes to AIM or chat-channels. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut so other people don't go "........." at me all the time. ^^;;

    But Neko-chan, I missed you Saturday and Sunday! I was on for large chunks of time on both days, and didn't see you! ;_; They've got Trigun AND Lost Universe on DVD at the local video store, and I'll slowly acquire it disc by disc. XD And then I'll have a clearer idea of what you're talking about. I read the Trigun fic on hanashika, and it was beautifully written.     O.o I think my WinAmp has achieved sentience.

    Now playing "Sympathetic Character" from the Technomancy Chicks' VS-soundtrack, with Ragabash's gorgeous "Crimson" Kamui skin. O.o And...it fits.

    So, I saw "Final Fantasy: the Spirits Within" on Friday. Boy, did becki and I rip into that movie after we left the theater. >.> My hands did twitch a couple of times, the way Ka-chan's did when she watched "Shrek," 'cause I kept expecting the opening FMV to finish so I could PLAY, dammit! It was a total stock action film, pulled from "Alien," "Aliens," Final Fantasies 7 and 8, and probably a few other things.

    Altogether, I liked Donald Sutherland as Dr. Cid, James Wood played a good turn as Hein, but while it was nice to see a strong heroine -- Aki was no Rinoa -- I couldn't get involved enough in the two main characters or their romance to care what happened by the end of the movie. >.> I really liked Neil and Jane, because their characters and voice actors put a good spin on the stock parts they ended up playing.

    BWAHAHA!! A Spike skin for the Pikachu remix of "Butterfly!" Kowaa...

    Snicker. My average search engine keyword hit is "yaoi." Must be doin' somethin' right. Hmm, Sydney skin for a NIN song, yay! XD XD XD

    Lilack posted a Kaho-rant that had a few good points. Personally, I rather like Mizuki Kaho. My own comments here are going to be unfocused and rambling, because it's early and I'm working on my second cup of coffee.

    Andy on CFFML was going off, at some point or another, over the injustice of CLAMP dismissing everyone's love-interest ties to Sakura for spurious reasons. 'Oh, her love for Yukito was only moon-based attraction, etc. etc.; Meiling woke up one morning and decided she didn't care for Shaoran anymore...' Well, Mizuki Kaho is evidence that they developed the moon-based attraction theory. Sakura went *hanyaan* over Kaho nearly as much as she did for Yukito.

    Kaho did some cool things in the manga. But she definitely gives off creepy vibes. I like her, but there are times when she is standing around *niko*-ing that make me want to yell at Sakura-dachi to run like hell. Of course, Eriol occasionally gives off the same vibe. (Yeeeek, a KoF skin on "Platina" by Sakamoto Maaya! Help!)

    Why do I not like Eriol and Kaho as a couple? I can't completely explain it. Maybe when Eriol has put on about ten-twenty years, it wouldn't bother me so much. No matter how much noise certain elements on CFFML make, I do think Eriol's body is the same age as Sakura-dachi. So Kaho is twenty-six when Eriol is approximately eleven. O.o Someone mentioned it was likely if Sakura went to visit Eriol in England after the series, she would find an Eriol who looked as old as her father. I don't think so.

    The CLAMP ladies did have a hand in bringing about the CCS second movie. Eriol's voice is deeper -- damn, is it deeper! -- but he looks essentially the same age as Sakura-dachi. Kaho is still over a decade older than he. o.O Well, if they're in love, they can overcome all obstacles, right? XD

    Mm. I dunno. That's the end of my rant; if Eriol and Kaho can be happy in fanfic-dom, more power to them. The series is over, manga and anime, so it's a moot point. Why do I like to see Eriol x Tomoyo? For the same reasons I like yaoi/slash writing. There is absolutely no basis for them in the manga, but I do like seeing them paired.

    That said... JOKER!! JOKEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR!!! I don't think any of my friends are following the "Flame of Rekka" manga anymore, but vol. 29 just came to our Kino's and we snagged a copy on Saturday. ;_; JOKER!!! He is so amazingly cool. When he first showed up, he was damn cool, but didn't look very good. Anzai-sensei started giving him better treatment in the 'Tendou Jigoku' arc (or whatever it's called; I've been following the manga but can't find good transrations). Mikagami has been getting prettier with each volume, and Koganei is cute as a button. n.n And JOKER is really damned hot! And cool! >.> Or something...

    If becki's scanner was working, I would definitely put up some scans. In the latest volume he's cut his hair, loosed it from the braids, and...well, actually, he looks more like Mikagami but WAY buff, and he's got a kind of kerchief-hat pulled low over his eyes. I theorized in my fic, "Wild Card in the Water," that he had eyes of two different colors, and it looks like I was right.

    I love shounen manga. XD Koganei ran into Joker, literally, midway through the volume. Joker speaks in Kansai-ben (I'm pretty sure? >_<) so I can only understand him half the time, but they tangled and then Koganei bolted. "Baibai!" "No way! That asshole!" You know you love the villains when they have completely undignified SD moments. Then they BOTH run into Kirito, someone who opposes both team Hokage and Kurei's faction. (I really wish I understood more of what's going on. =.=) So Koganei and Joker teamed up to kick her arse. It was so much fun. XD Then, the end... T_T Well, Joker is way up there on my list of awesome FoR characters, and I will HAVE to fic him soon.

    I spent a chunk of time re-reading my "Kizuna," too. =n.n= Definitely another case where the mangaka's art gets extremely stylized towards the end of the series. It's better than how it was in the beginning volumes, but...ergh. Her art in Vol. 7 at some points reminds me of John Romero's -- he drew "X-Men" for awhile, back when I used to collect it. There are two scenes in a hot spring, and I love them both. XD And there is Masa/Kai cuteness, which I liked after how badly Kai got smacked down in vol. 6. (I take it back. Now the WinAmp is inflicting me with "Voodoo" enhanced with a CCS-Sakura skin.)

    Janie, I'm still waiting for your Big Blog Entry! XD And I must say, again, I'm SO ECSTATIC that you're rooming with us for the con! Elysaar, hear that? Now we've got four people in the room! XD XD XD I'll bring the Playstation 2 and the VCR so we'll be fully entertained in the room, if the video room isn't playing stuff we want to camp out for. And Janie! We will CAMP OUT in the Karaoke room, if they have one! Hmm, any good duets we could sing? XD I'm sure Thea will join us...
