I have got to get cracking on becki's birthday fic. And various other things, of course, like the mail I'm a month to two months behind on. I expect to disappear ALL weekend. >_<

After taking a look at this blog in a couple of different resolutions and programs, I've come to the conclusion that it looks better in the larger resolution, and in Netscape. >.> Don't ask me why. It looks more or less the same in IE and Netscape, but slightly sharper in the latter.

Okay. I must get ready for work. Whee! Another day of spreadsheets, disgruntled customer calls, and answering repetitive e-mail!

I'm going to ask becki's Mom about making tables in Netscrap, because I'm sure that's what the problem is. But in the meantime, if anyone knows how to fix what I've done wrong? Could you e-mail me? Prease?

I'm a button-masher. T_T The only game I ever mastered moves for was Street Fighter vs. X-men, and that was years ago.

I need to update my hits list. >.> I've been overdue for awhile, and now I need to sort out the actual links from the odd hit or two. (For instance, I'm flattered I got a hit from the Technomancy chicks' blog, but have no idea why.)

And I meant to say this morning, and it slipped my mind -- big, HUGE thank-you's to Katsu for hosting the images for my "The Kid's Dangerous" layout. For this new layout, Aol turned out to be good for something, after all; I uploaded these new images to the members space there. ^^;;;

Please don't anyone ask why I didn't do it before.

I won the Takuhitsu award for best yaoi! =^_^= I've got to pick up my image, but I was notified that "Dragon Tears" won the award for the Weiss Kreuz Takuhitsu contest in the best yaoi category. Yay~! In other contest news, "Aya Tells Omi About the Bees and the Bees" won an honorable mention in the "Boys Next Door" contest. In other other contest news, I managed to make my last-minute revisions and entered two fics in the Yaoicon fanfiction contest, one in each category -- yaoi and shounen-ai.

Of course, now I'm already planning ahead and trying to figure out how to make an even better one next time. I think I should pick up a copy of "Photoshop for Dummies" or some such. @_< I know enough to know where the gaps in my knowledge are.

@_@ I feel like I'm on speed. What the hell was in those allergy pills?

It looks as if it's worked! XD XD XD Yet again, I feel a sense of accomplishment at displaying my less-than-spectacular efforts at Photoshop and HTML. This layout is more of a "back to the basics" kind of thing. I need to take some kind of class before I attempt anything more involved, like Puu's beautiful layouts. And Juri's. And Meg's. And Kya's. And Tin's. And...well, basically everyone else's layout.

Now, I just need to go home and make sure it looks decent in Netscrap, because I didn't have time to open it and check; I was a dizzy wench and put it up as soon as I saw it didn't suck in IE. If anyone notices anything odd, please tell me. I'm trying to improve my (basic, very basic) page-designing skills.

I took some allergy pills and Tylenol this morning, as Mom always told me to do when I start getting a headache, and what do you know? It went away. *blinkblink* Unfortunately, now I'm alternating between feeling as if I'm on an adrenaline rush, and feeling logy. But my sinuses are clear and my head doesn't hurt, so I guess that's what matters? *squinch* Or maybe this is what feeling normal is like and I've just forgotten.

In other news, I posted my first fic to ff.net, that Saiyuki fic I wrote a short while ago. It's "On Those Rainy Nights." T_T I can't believe I finally caved.
